Taylor
Taylor Swift may be the most unusual of pop stars: an artist who could effortlessly bridge the gap between pop and country music and conquer the world. Swift removed herself from the country genre like a second skin and showed that she had the best pop sensibility in her time. Swift was the only musician/singer to follow the zeitgeist of popular music on the road. Swift's first hits, particularly her neo song in tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off her talents. The album from 2008 Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was re-discovering herself and was able to draw a wide audience. Fearless was a huge success worldwide, not only in North America (where it received as platinum six times for Top Ten Hits Love Story as well as "You Belong with Me") but in Canada, Australia and the U.K. and other countries. Swift was able to consolidate her popularity by releasing Speak Now almost two year later. In the following three years, her popularity increased -the albums - Red (2012), Reputation (2014) in addition to 1989 (2014-2015) -- as she entered a new arena of pop where her talents were already well-established. When she reduced her sound by releasing stripped-down albums like 2020, folklore, and Evermore but she was still in the top spot. The position was defended with the re-recordings she had made from her earlier catalog, as well as Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
