Cartwright got married to Steve Gullion in 1976. The couple have two kids. Born to England, Angela is the older sister of the actress Veronica Cartwright. In her early years, she was a part of the adorable stepdaughter of Linda Williams, on The Danny Thomas Show (1953). The show aired from 1957 to 1964. Then she was cast in Julie Andrews's cult film The Sound of Music, (1965) as Brigitta. In the episode Marie My Love the actor was Cartwright's youngest son. The mother of the family was French Creole origin.
