Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is an Canadian actress. Paquin who was born in Wellington but born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world in The Piano. At age 11 years old, she became one of the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada on the 24th of July, 1982. She is a Canadian-born actress from New Zealand. In 1993 she won her first Academy Award at age 11 as the curious and talking daughter that was Holly Hunter who played the main role. Paquin made her debut as a child with a role of the Jane Eyre protagonist in the Franco Zeffirelli novel Jane Eyre as well as an important role in Fly Away Home. Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997 in which she played the Spanish queen in a lesser part. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed in the role of character of the polexia Aphrodisa groupie in Almost Famous (2000).
