Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up there. She went on to become a TV host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent most her childhood taking care of her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mother. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The host was on TV at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. In addition, she has a fictional role on series such Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
